From 69kV wood pole lines to 500kV tubular steel, steel, concrete, and lattice tower transmission lines, our high voltage power line expertise is respected throughout our coverage area. We perform all electric power infrastructure construction operations including right-of-way preparation, foundation construction, structure assembly & erection, conductor installation: stringing, sagging, clipping, dead-ending, reconductoring, fiber optic (OPGW), and splicing.

Our overhead transmission personnel are equipped with the best technology available in our industry and well trained in all areas of transmission maintenance. Working from aerial devices to climbing poles our maintenance crews perform all types of transmission maintenance work. From the basic insulator replacement to a complete transmission line rebuild, Southeast Power stands by prepared to support any utility company. Our barehand crews are capable of energized maintenance work up to 500kV. This work includes energized re-conductor projects of any size using either hot stick or barehand methods.

Our transmission power line construction group is proficient in all areas of utility service construction and operations. Crews are prepared to mobilize immediately, operate under adverse conditions, and meet the critical time constraints of the power & utility industry. Our transmission crews have extensive experience working in extreme terrains, utilizing helicopters, barges, and other specialized equipment where access is restricted. Southeast Power is capable of working in the most congested of urban areas to any environmentally sensitive area in the country. Transmission line construction capabilities include single and bundled conductor of all sizes and voltages up to 500kV.
